job_description.job_card.job_descriptionHands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk Enterprise, Datadog, and Grafana. Strong understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure (CloudWatch, EC2, ECS, Lambda, networking, etc.). Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation and monitoring tasks. Knowledge of network monitoring, telemetry, and SNMP-based systems. Experience using Git for source control and configuration management. Ability to collaborate effectively with development, operations, and SRE teams to improve system visibility and reliability. Experience with large-scale WiFi or network performance monitoring environments. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code principles and CI / CD pipelines. Exposure to OpenTelemetry or similar observability frameworks. Background in telecommunications, cloud networking, or large distributed systems. Contract
Hybrid – Greenwood Village, CO
We are seeking an Observability Engineer to design and implement comprehensive monitoring solutions for enterprise-scale network infrastructure running on AWS. The engineer will work across teams to build dashboards, alerts, and automated observability pipelines using Splunk Enterprise, Datadog, and Grafana.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement observability dashboards and alerting for AWS-based services.
- Develop and maintain APM, NPM, and SNMP monitoring solutions for large-scale network systems.
- Automate log aggregation, alerting, and performance monitoring using Python and Bash scripting.
- Collaborate with software and infrastructure teams to embed observability into applications and systems.
- Maintain monitoring infrastructure through version control using Git and automation pipelines.
