Production Associate

A Production Operators primary purpose include w orking independently and in coordination with the Team Leader or Supervisor is to be responsible for the accurate and compliant manufacturing of various Air & Cooling products utilizing a variety of manual automated and semi-automated equipment and processes.

Duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for meeting daily production targets and quotas.
• Follows verbal and written instruction and is accountable for his / her actions.
• Successfully learns a variety of production processes and performs them safely and proficiently. Under close supervision may operate a variety of machines and station to produce good products.
• Follows (HSE) Health Safety and Environmental guidelines (PPE etc.) and always demonstrates safe work practices.
• Must be regular and punctual in attendance and adhere to all employee handbook policies.
• Adheres to strict safety regulations of the company.
• Follows First in / First Out (FIFO) when pulling product from Work in Progress(WIP) areas.
• Responsible for completing First piece checks when necessary.
• Follow Sogefis Quality Management System ISO and Safety Requirements.
• Report accidents and injurys immediately to the Supervisor.
• Maintains a safe clean and organized work area and ensures that others are doing the same.
• Promotes job and process improvement as it relates to the department (through 5S and other improvement initiatives).
• Responsible for preventing identifying and controlling safety hazards of processes equipment and materials and applying that knowledge during routine and non-routine operations as well as emergency situations.
• Monitors and records critical process parameters and performs a wide variety of skilled duties in the preparation and operation of process equipment.
• Overtime may be required based on business need; regular attendance required.
• Performs other related duties as required.
