Southridge Behavioral Hospital is a beautiful and new state-of-the-art facility. As a joint venture with the Trinity Health System and Universal Health Services, we serve up to 96 adult and geriatric patients across four units.

Position Description :

The Environmental Services Worker / Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining all facility areas to provide an efficient, safe, sanitary, clean and orderly facility.

Hours and Location :

Per Diem, an ideal candidate will be able to commit to at least one weekend a month.

We are located on the south side of Grand Rapids, near the intersection of M-6 and Byron Center Ave SW : 6291 Venture Hills Boulevard SW, Byron Center, MI 49315

Qualifications

Housekeeper, EVS Department Job Requirements :

High School or GED Equivalent Preferred.

Experience as a housekeeper in an institutional setting is preferred.

Must be able to follow oral and written instructions in order to operate food service equipment and follow direction

Possesses ability to climb a ladder and work at heights up to 6 feet.

Must be able to complete assigned tasks in order to provide an efficient, safe, sanitary, attractive and orderly facility.
