job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide direct patient care to assigned group of patients during scheduled shifts Float between departments and local locations within 20 miles as required Utilize nursing process including assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient care Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or standard protocols Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout care episodes Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel Complete patient population / age-specific / procedure and protocol education and competency testing Must be able to scrub in operating room environment Work in fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and team collaboration Minimum 2 years current large OR experience required Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment Epic experience preferred but training provided on-site Orthopedic, EENT, and vascular experience preferred Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required New Mexico or Compact State nursing license required BLS certification required through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross PALS and ACLS certifications preferred Referral bonus
