Lead Teacher

The Lead Teacher performs a wide range of tasks in order to care for and develop educational programming for preschool age children, which includes but is not limited to :

• Planning and conducting daily activities for children
• Maintaining an orderly physical environment conducive to optimal growth and development of children
• Preparing educational materials required for implementing the daily activity plans

Minimal Education :

Requires a high school degree or its equivalent. Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is strongly preferred and is required for regulatory compliance when less than 75% of current staff hold the degree.

Early Childhood Credential required.

Minimal Experience :

At least one year of child care experience required.

Other Qualifications :

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Must have current CPR and First Aid certification or the ability to obtain the same.
