Family Nurse Practitioner ( FNP ) Bon Secours Heathsville Family Practice (Heathsville, VA)

Location : Heathsville, VA

Schedule : Monday Friday, 7 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM

Setting : Outpatient Family Medicine

Bon Secours Heathsville Family Practice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our collaborative, patient-centered care team. We serve a diverse community of patients from newborns through adulthood providing comprehensive primary care that emphasizes prevention, wellness, and long-term relationships.

Position Highlights

  • Patient Population : Newborns to 21+
  • Average Patients / Day :
  • Schedule : Monday Friday, 7 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM
  • Call : Shared among 10+ providers (weekday 5p 7a; weekend Friday 5p Sunday 6p)
  • Call limited to urgent adult issues only
  • No medication refills or controlled substances management
  • Average 1 10 calls per shift
  • Virtual Health : Optional MyChart virtual visits for routine, follow-up, and acute care

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide full-spectrum primary care, including routine, acute, and wellness visits
  • Manage chronic diseases and coordinate care with specialists
  • Perform in-office procedures such as :
  • Cryotherapy, incision & drainage, wound suturing, and management
  • Optional : Pap smears / pelvic exams, punch biopsies, intra-articular injections
  • Supported by a dedicated team of CMA / LPNs (1 : 2 support ratio)

    • Qualifications

  • Education : Master s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (FNP)
  • Licensure : NP license in Virginia (or eligibility)
  • Certification : Current BLS required
  • Experience : New graduates welcome; experienced providers preferred
