Contract Length : 13 weeks

Shifts : Rotating 12-hour shifts (07 : 00-19 : 30, 11 : 00-23 : 30, 19 : 00-07 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Patient Ratios : 1 : 5

Charting System : Cerner

Orientation : 36 hours

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1910 - $1960

ER RN Qualifications

Current and active Pennsylvania or compact Registered Nurse license

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI

TNCC certification preferred

Experience in Trauma Level I or II Emergency Departments preferred

Community hospital experience required

Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline process promptly upon contract signing

Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract

No local candidates (must live at least 75 miles from facility)

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced Emergency Department

Perform triage, assessment, and management of acute and critical conditions, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and behavioral health emergencies

Administer emergency medications, IV therapies, and blood products

Manage central lines, chest tubes, ventilated patients, and advanced airway procedures

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response

Utilize Cerner for electronic charting and clinical documentation

Participate in rotating shifts and every other weekend coverage as required

Maintain compliance with all credentialing, onboarding, and hospital policies
