Position : Sr. Systems Administrator

Job Details :

The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for the administration maintenance and support of the enterprises Azure cloud environment alongside on-premises Windows operating systems and related infrastructure components such as DNS. This role demands deep expertise in managing Windows servers Azure resources and core Azure network services to ensure high availability security and optimal system performance across hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments including Active Directory Group Policy and system updates / patching.
• Manage Azure infrastructure and services including virtual machines networking and storage accounts.
• Configure troubleshoot and optimize Domain Name System (DNS) services across both on-premises and Azure environments.
• Monitor system health performance and security proactively addressing issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce security best practices including identity management access control and patch management.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Azure CLI to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with network security and architect teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
• Manage backup disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Windows and Azure systems.
• Participate in planning and executing system upgrades migrations and cloud adoption initiatives.
• Provide tier 2 and tier 3 support for escalated technical issues related to Windows and Azure environments.
• Maintain detailed documentation of systems configurations procedures and infrastructure changes.
