Serco a solutions company headquartered in Herndon VA is seeking a forward-thinking Senior Data Architect with deep expertise in AWS cloud-native technologies to join the Solutions Architect team to assist with designing and implementing scalable secure and high-performance data architectures to support the eligibility-support processing for consumer access to the Federal Marketplace Exchange under the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This role will focus on improving operational reporting modernizing legacy systems enabling advanced analytics and supporting enterprise-wide data initiatives in a cloud-first environment.

We are looking for a team-player who is passionate about solving problems for mission-driven initiatives.

What Youll Be Doing :

• Designing and implementing cloud-based data platforms using AWS-native technologies
• Developing scalable data lake data warehouse and real-time streaming architectures
• Architecting and optimizing relational and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
• Identifying and integrating new technologies to replace or enhance legacy systems
• Translating business requirements into robust and scalable data architectures
• Working closely with system engineers analysts other solutions architects business stakeholders and program leadership
• Providing architectural guidance and direction to technical teams including operations security and software development
• Providing thought leadership
