Registered Nurse - Long Term Acute Care

Location

Baldwyn, MS

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour day shifts, from 7 AM to 7 : 30 PM with a 30-minute paid break; weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a Long Term Acute Care facility. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to geriatric and post-acute patients, ensuring the highest level of patient care within the available resources.

Responsibilities

  • Float to various units as needed, within competency.
  • Provide patient care for geriatric and post-acute patients with complex health needs.
  • Maintain flexibility with scheduling to meet facility needs.
  • Adhere to all facility policies and procedures regarding patient care and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting is required.
  • Experience in a facility with 400+ beds or as a level 2 trauma RN is strongly preferred.
  • BLS certification (AHA) is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
  • Prior travel experience is required; first-time travelers may be considered based on strength of experience.
