Director, North America Supply Chain Distribution Technology

Summary
Lead the North America engineering team (10–12 engineers / architects) responsible for distribution and warehouse technology. You'll own the strategy and delivery of modern supply chain solutions—optimizing existing platforms, introducing new capabilities, and improving service levels across distribution centers and 3PL partners.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Roadmap
- Build and execute a technology roadmap for North America supply chain and warehouse operations aligned to business goals.
- Evaluate and deploy modern technologies (WMS, automation, robotics, labor planning, etc.) to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.
- Lead selection, implementation, and integration of new platforms across the supply chain network.
- Manage the technology budget and ensure cost-effective delivery.
Warehouse & Distribution Applications
Oversee support, enhancements, and implementation of core supply chain systems (WMS / TMS and custom applications).Lead technical engineering across 3–5 distribution centers and North American 3PLs.Drive systems architecture (platform, availability, scalability, security, and third-party integrations).Analyze data, integrations, and patterns to design and maintain scalable, resilient platforms.Identify technical debt and define remediation strategies.Partner with warehouse and transportation leaders to ensure technology drives measurable operational outcomes.Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of technology professionals (10–12 direct reports).Create strong collaboration between IT, Supply Chain, Product, and Logistics teams.Promote continuous learning, modern engineering practices, and a culture of accountability and innovation.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, or related field.9+ years in supply chain or logistics technology leadership.Deep expertise in WMS, TMS, and broader supply chain technology, with a strong preference for Manhattan applications.Experience architecting and designing around Manhattan WMS / TMS, including Manhattan Integration Framework (MIF) and multiple WMS versions (2012–2019).Proven success implementing, maintaining, and scaling supply chain, warehouse, and transportation technology solutions.Track record leading enterprise-scale architecture roadmaps and full life cycle implementations.Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-vendor ecosystem; skilled at managing conflicts and escalations.High-energy, self-motivated, and results-driven with a "get it done" mindset.Strong analytical skills and experience using data and analytics to drive decisions.Excellent communication and presentation skills, including with senior leadership and large groups.Adaptable, calm under pressure, able to pivot priorities quickly.Passion for quality, innovation, and customer-focused outcomes.
