Summary

The Supply Chain Finance Lead Analyst serves as the business partner to the Transportation & Fleet Operations team and is responsible for the development and execution of financial annual budgeting plan as well as the monthly rolling estimate forecasts. This position assists the Shared Service record-to-report team with the monthly SAP close process and consolidated financial reporting for the purpose of maintaining an effective cost accounting system to optimize spending and improve overall profitability. He / she will also assist in fleet strategy capital expenditure financial analysis for all facilities. The position is located at the company's corporate headquarters in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the timely build of the annual budget, translating key operational and strategic assumptions into the financial plan. He / she must host meetings with Transport Directors, Shared-Service accounting management, and key finance stakeholders to deliver annual operating plan on time and in full.
• Lead the monthly rolling estimate for 2 transportation hubs to reforecast business changes against original plan based on sales data and provide course-correcting recommendations and analysis to management / leadership, as needed.
• Analyze financial results comparing against key performance indicators such as Plan, historical results, and other specified benchmarks that explain operational performance.
• Provide oversight of our Shared Service team's reconciliation of standard freight additive costs to actual costs, PPV-Freight, and general operating expenses (labor, fuel, tolls etc.).
• Analyzes absorption and spending impact of sourcing lane and rate changes against the facility P&L
• Responsible for the Transportation capital asset lifecycle (project scenario modeling, approval workflow management, and proper settlement of projects to the Fixed Asset Sub Ledger).
