Bilingual Dental Customer Care Representative
Busy community health center is hiring a Bilingual (English / Spanish) Customer Care Representative to work in their dental clinic. The Dental Customer Care Representative will be responsible for a variety of patient-centered activities, including scheduling of follow-up and missed appointments, MCO claims work, coordinating paperwork and DCFS consent forms and managing traffic flow at the busy front desk.
Hours : 8am to 4 : 30pm, Mon-Fri
Pay : $15.23
Bilingual Dental Customer Care Rep Responsibilities :
- Verify patients are checked in and paperwork is in place
- Comply with established policies and procedures, department objectives, and HIPAA standards
- Understand and perform the scrubbing function of all dental appointments prior to the appointment, to ensure MCO compliance, proper DCFS consent and appropriateness of the appointment
- Understand department standards and guidelines for scheduling; schedule follow up and missed appointments for dental patients at all dental sites
- Assist dentists and dental support staff in clerical functions including phone calls, copying, faxing referrals, scanning, and notating properly with notes and information requests
- Manage the patient flow in reception area; monitor patient wait times, ensure that dental patients have checked in at the front desk and provide other customer care services as required
- Work closely with the Dental Unit Case Coordinator, Dental Assistants, Dental Unit Manager and Dentists to meet the customer care needs of the dental patients
