Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Civil Design Engineer to assist with our projects in Detroit and the surrounding area!

Key Responsibilities

• Work in conjunction with other licensed engineers assisting with the design and preparation of a variety of commercial, industrial, energy, water / wastewater, private and community projects throughout the Midwest.
• Coordinate with fellow MSG staff across a variety of services sectors, including : Surveying, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, Site Construction, municipal, etc...
• Perform and check various design calculations and perform various tasks as they relate to preparing a design package.
• Developing construction documents including plans sets, specifications, and bid sets
• In charge of municipal water main design and wastewater transmission design
• Utilities design for private development in Detroit
• Prepare front end feasibility documents, due diligence reports and zoning studies, project development, storm water modeling and design, cost estimates and detailed design plans.
