Schedule Details :

• 5 days a week, 9-hour shifts (8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM)
• Monday to Friday : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
• Morning : Outpatient clinic
• Afternoon : Inpatient consults and procedures at the hospital
• Daily Rate : Includes onsite support during the shift times, with slight variations as necessary

Combination of hospital rounding, clinic, and consults

• 7 exam rooms; no admissions
• EMR System : EPIC
• Technology : Pill Camera (No lab or X-ray on site)
• Hospital Bed Size : 169
• Office Staff : 2 CMAs, 2 RNs, 2 Registration Staff, 1 Office Supervisor
• Support Staff : 1 Physician, 2 Mid-levels

Special Procedures (Preferred) :

• PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)

Skills Required :

• GI Endoscopy (upper and lower) with :

Biopsy

• Foreign Body Removal
• Fulguration of Bleeder (cautery vs. laser)
• Banding of Varices
• Esophageal Dilatation / Manometry
• Small Bowel Biopsy
• Sigmoidoscopy
• Colonoscopy with :

Biopsy

• Excision of Polyp
• Not Required :

Internal Medicine

• ERCP
• EUS
• Liver Biopsy
• Esophageal Manometry Interpretation
• Insertion / Management of Sengstaken or Blakemore Tube

Practice Setting :

• Hospital Acute Care

Requirements :

• Board Certification : Required
• State License : South Carolina (SC)
• DEA Registration : Required
• CSR (Controlled Substances Registration) : Not required
• Certifications Required : BLS
• Minimum Experience : Must be out of training and have been practicing medicine for at least 2 years
