Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily administrative functions within the dealership business officeCoordinate with dealership management to maximize efficiencies (deal flow, accurate records)Oversee all financial operations of the dealership, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reportingFoster a positive and collaborative work environment within the accounting and finance teamDevelop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiencyManage a team of accounting and finance professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluationsPrepare and present various financial reports to dealership management on a regular basisMonitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for cost savings and revenue opportunitiesEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to financial operationsAssist with escalated customer concerns related to financing and billingOversee front-desk reception schedules and manage performanceEnsure compliance with automotive industry regulations, company policies, and accounting proceduresQualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)5+ years of experience in a financial management role, preferably within the automotive industryPrevious experience as an Office Manager in an automotive dealership, preferredStrong record of effective leadership, communication, and people management skillsStrong knowledge of accounting and finance principles and proceduresProficiency in dealership management software (DMS), financial software, and accounting systemsCDK experience, preferredAbility to analyze financial data and make strategic decisionsProficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs#J-18808-Ljbffr
