POSITION SUMMARY

Assist the VDC / BIM Manager with BIM, utilizing Tekla / AutoCAD on Nibbi Concrete projects. Provide VDC / BIM coordination, and produce high quality shop drawings. Travel between jobsites and office locations is required. This position reports to the VDC / BIM Manager. Work location is primarily the Nibbi home office in San Francisco.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Work with project teams, architects, and designers to generate 2D shop drawings and 3D models.
• Produce highly accurate, detailed, and constructible submittals.
• Support the VDC / BIM Manager in the companywide integration of VDC / BIM software initiatives.
• Represent Nibbi in a professional manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in engineering, or related technical field, with minimum 1 year of VDC / BIM experience. Concrete construction industry experience preferred. Candidates must have a solid understanding of design and document coordination, knowledge of construction nomenclature and techniques, and a general understanding of various building types. This position requires a high level of fluency reading plans, specifications, and related project documents. Key competencies are initiative, communication, teamwork, dependability, collaboration, and attention to detail.
