Café Freska LLC, a Taziki’s Franchisee for North Florida, operates 5 locations and has ambitious plans to open 9+ more restaurants in the region. We are currently seeking a friendly, energetic, and reliable team-oriented leader with a passion for food to represent our brand. Join us in providing healthy, delectable meals to the local community while creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. As a Shift Leader, you will connect the dots between operating costs, staff skills, and guest satisfaction to drive sales and profitability. You will have the opportunity to build, develop, and mentor a team, set goals, devise strategies, and motivate your people to achieve success.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :

  • Successfully complete 4-6 weeks of training.
  • Drive sales growth and profits for the restaurant and catering.
  • Manage shifts and ensure floor control.
  • Develop hourly employees, fostering motivation, training, and personal and professional growth.

    • REQUIREMENTS : QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of upper management experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • ServSafe Certification Required.
  • Excellent leadership, customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to attract, train, retain, and motivate quality employees.
  • Basic knowledge of PC functions.
  • Maintain a positive, clean, safe atmosphere and environment for both guests and coworkers.
  • Professional attitude and respect for coworkers, establishment, and the brand.
  • Strong work ethic, and a commitment to exceed our guests’ expectations 100% of the time.

    • PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Position requires the ability to tolerate walking and standing during the entire shift.
  • Must be capable of reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying, with a minimum lifting capacity of 50 pounds to chin level without injury.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently under high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage staff and handle adversity.
  • Exercises good judgment when dealing with customer situations, complaints, and takes corrective action when necessary.

    • WORK CONDITIONS / HOURS

  • Flexible schedule requiring up to 40 hours weekly of physical activity.
  • Shifts will vary and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and / or holidays.
