Lead Supervisor

The Stone Oven Bakery & Cafe is an independent local artisan bakery, serving freshly baked European breads and pastries, homemade soups, salads, and sandwiches since 1995.

Stone Oven Bakery and Cafe' in Cleveland Heigts, is hiring a lead supervisor for the front of the house. The successful candidate will work closely with the owners to maintain and improve the operation. They will direct the front-of-house team to insure excellent customer service and proper organization for smooth operations. Duties will include training staff, implementing new procedures and policies, reporting to owners any issues relating to employee performance and any issues with supplies and equipment, being the interface between FOH team and owners and hands-on customer service.

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications :

Experience in managing a team in a fast-paced food service environment

Excellent verbal and oral communication skills

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work rapidly and efficiently, multitasking

No late nights - Hours of operation : Mon - Fri : 7am-7pm , Sat & Sun : 7am - 5pm

Compensation includes a base hourly rate plus tips. A minimum guaranteed total hourly rate (base plus tips) will start at $19 per hour

Paid vacation & 401K plan offered after 1 year of service

Weekend availability - NO LATE NIGHT SHIFTS!
