Delivery Driver

Breathe Oxygen Supply -

JOB SUMMARY

Cleans , disinfects , and functionally checks medical equipment , delivers , and instructs on medical equipment and supplies to home care customers in their place of residence , and provides highly responsible patient care services . Applicant must be 21 years of age or older .

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Participate in on - call rotation .
• Safely drives and maintains company vehicles .

Securely loads and stages delivery vehicles .

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education , Certificate , and Licensure

High school diploma or general education degree ( GED ) ; three months industry related work experience and / or training ; or equivalent combination of education and experience . No professional certificate or licensure required , although preferred .

Math Ability

Must demonstrate proficient ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions , percentages , ratios , and proportions to practical situations .

Requirements

Applicant must have a clean state criminal background , clean drug test , valid driver's license . Additionally , the applicant is expected to demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of departmental program structure ( Mission , Vision , and Goal Statements ) and department policies and procedures . Must be able to work a flexible schedule , as needed , and can demonstrate effective time management skills while working independently with minimal supervision .

Language and Communication Ability

Must demonstrate proficient ability to foster professional working relationships utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills organization - wide .

Physical Demands

Requires the ability to safely operate a company vehicle ; stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions ; strength to lift and carry machinery and / or equipment weighing up to 100 pounds ; vision to read printed materials , computer screens and road signs ; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone ; manual dexterity to perform job functions and stamina to frequently sit for extended periods of time .

Reasoning Ability

Must demonstrate proficient ability to understand , interpret , and apply an extensive array of complex mathematical instruction and information through analytical collection of factual data to produce logical solutions and / or conclusions where only limited standardization exists .

Technology Skills

Must demonstrate proficient ability and practical knowledge of computer use . Additionally , the applicant must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and proficiently to use company specific software programs and any other handheld or technology tools as required for completing job tasks .

OTHER INFORMATION

Must demonstrate proficiency and productivity in a fast - paced environment with unscheduled interruptions while maintaining acceptable judgment , responsibility , and assumption for decisions , consequences , and results .
