CNC Operator

PrideStaff is looking for a 3rd shift CNC Operator for a growing, innovative manufacturing client located in Arvada, CO. This is a 6 : 00 pm- 6 : 00 am, 12 hour shift Monday through Thursday. This position will train on the 1st shift then, then move to the 3rd shift.

CNC Machine Operator Job Duties :

  • Effectively operate CNC mills and lathes
  • Data collection and chart inspections
  • Perform necessary offsets to maintain quality controls
  • Problem solve product and processing issues
  • Conduct first article inspections

CNC Machine Operator Job Requirements :

  • Working knowledge of machine operations, materials and production standards
  • Ability to read blueprints, understand measuring procedures
  • Follow written and verbal instructions
  • Competent in basic math skills, shop arithmetic, documentation
  • Basic computer skills
  • Quality and detail oriented regarding both product and accurate completion of all documentation
  • Ideally possess own measuring tools; Calipers, depth mics, OD mics, etc.
  • 1 year machine shop experience on both CNC mills and lathes, preferred
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
