About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Product for Data and AI Platforms. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving the strategy and execution of enterprise-level data and AI platforms, with a focus on real-time, batch, analytics, and generative AI capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the long-term vision and roadmap, aligning product direction with company-wide goals, and leading a team of product managers to ensure the delivery of high-impact, scalable solutions. Key responsibilities include overseeing the development of generative AI capabilities, managing a portfolio of data products, and fostering collaboration with engineering, data science, analytics, and infrastructure teams. The role also involves team leadership, product marketing, and a strong emphasis on continuous improvement through the tracking of product performance and staying abreast of industry trends.

Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity, and a proven track record in building and scaling data or AI platform products, preferably in a cloud-native environment. A deep understanding of modern data technologies, including streaming and batch pipelines, data lakes, and analytical stores, is essential. Familiarity with generative AI models and hands-on experience with public cloud platforms is also required. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, the ability to manage multiple roadmaps, and excellent communication abilities, particularly in translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Experience in product marketing, internal adoption, and enablement initiatives, as well as exposure to compliance and governance tooling, is a bonus.
