POSITION SUMMARY :

Responsible for processing and coordinating reservations, bed Assignments for admissions and transfers. Serves as a liaison and resource for physicians, physician's office staff, nursing, ancillary departments and registration staff.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :

Well versed in medical terminology, hospital service, accommodation codes, policies and procedures.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS :

Must be able to communicate effectively and maintain an excellent rapport with patients, visitors, medical staff, nursing and non-clinical staff in all situations.

EDUCATION :

• High School Diploma required.
• Some medical terminology and business courses preferred.

Must clear background and drug test required.
