Hillcrest Hospital's 4 Main Neuroscience Unit provides medical, neurological, and telemetry care to inpatient and observation patients with neurological diseases, such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, TIA, seizures, carotid stenosis, vertigo, dizziness, syncope, and migraines.

A caregiver in this position works a day / night rotation of 7 : 00am - 7 : 30pm or 7 : 00pm - 7 : 30am.

A caregiver who excels in this role will :

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
