About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Fund Accounting and Reporting. This strategic and hands-on leadership role is pivotal in overseeing the accounting and operations of multiple complex funds, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial deliverables. The successful candidate will lead the financial reporting processes, manage fund liquidity and capital activity, direct tax-related workflows, and provide oversight for investor reporting and due diligence. Compliance with fund partnership agreements, credit facilities, and regulatory reporting requirements is also a key responsibility. The role demands a proactive individual with a continuous improvement mindset, capable of leading process enhancements, system integrations, and onboarding initiatives for new funds and administrators. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics, with a CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred. A minimum of 6-8 years' of relevant experience, including leadership within fund accounting, private equity, or investment management, is required. The ideal candidate will have a background in public accounting, advanced Excel proficiency, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams. Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain relationships across various stakeholders. The role also requires a high level of organization, proactivity, and the ability to manage competing priorities with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
