Description
The General Maintenance works directly with our clients engineering leadership and vendors to keep the building operational. Perform ongoing facility maintenance and complete repairs on various equipment. Perform minor repairs to Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEPs) equipment. Ensure client satisfaction.
Pay $27.00 an hour : The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicants experience skills abilities geographic location and alignment with market data.
1st shift (Monday - Friday) 7am to 3 : 30pm with some OT.

JOB OBJECTIVE
The General Maintenance Technician II is responsible for ensuring the building remains operational by performing ongoing facility maintenance completing repairs on various equipment and ensuring client satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum of 2-4 of related experience and / or trade school training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook Word and Excel.
Ability to understand and give general instructions in standard situations.
Operate and use necessary manual and power-driven tools.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
May require shift work overtime and / or on call duties. Stooping standing climbing and frequent lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pump tools ladders) and ability to safely install rigging / lifting device.
May be required to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priority / emergency situations (including overtime type assignments).
Climb ladders and stairs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Proficient in Basic General Maintenance Duties
Troubleshooting skills within General Maintenance Duties
Lighting and Ballast
Fixture leaks
Thermostat / Temperature
Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP)
Solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks.
Complete assigned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.
Use the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) program in support of work performance. Foster a work environment that promotes energy conservation and continuous improvement of engineering functions.
Record all pertinent data in building logbooks and makes all appropriate daily entries.
Perform basic routine MEP repairs
Assist with surface preparation and painting minor drywall and wood trim repair
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
Assists in emergencies as needed.
Returns all work areas to a clean neat orderly and safe condition.
