Job Title : Director of Operations

With a dedicated team of 150 full-time employees, we are looking for a strategic leader to help us structure our growth and take our manufacturing capabilities to the next level.
Position Overview This is a newly created position designed to support our rapid scaling. Reporting directly to the Owner, the Director of Operations will architect and professionalize our operations across production, assembly, CNC machining, and distribution. You will be responsible for instilling operational discipline, implementing robust systems, and leading a team of 150+ staff to ensure we meet the demands of our increasing market share.
Responsibilities
- Architect & Scale Operations : Lead the strategic build-out of operations across production, assembly lines, CNC machining, and warehouse / logistics functions to support continued company growth.
- Daily Management : Oversee daily activities across the facility, ensuring production targets are met with precision and efficiency.
- Systems Implementation : Introduce or optimize ERP / MRP workflows, inventory accuracy processes, and shop floor data systems to drive data-based decision-making.
- Team Development : Hire, mentor, and build a high-performing operations leadership team, including developing supervisors and managers.
- Financial Oversight : Create and maintain operational budgets, managing costs for raw materials, labor, inventory, and maintenance.
- Operational Excellence : Drive cost reductions and labor efficiencies while transitioning facility maintenance from reactive to predictive models.
- Supply Chain & Logistics : Oversee warehousing and distribution functions to ensure raw materials feed production lines efficiently and finished goods reach customers on time.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred.Experience : 10+ years of leadership experience within a manufacturing operations environment.Industry Background : Strong preference for Automotive industry experience; however, we are open to candidates with strong backgrounds in complex assembly, CNC machiningLeadership : Demonstrated experience leading teams of 100150+ FTEsincluding the development of supervisors and managersacross Supply Chain, Assembly, Production, and Quality.Process Improvement : Proven track record of establishing processes, implementing systems, and instilling operational discipline in a high-growth environment.Strategic Purchasing : History of success with raw material purchasing strategies and inventory management.
