Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our team. The purpose of this role will be to identify and secure new business opportunities for our warehouse and transportation operations in California and Florida. We work primarily with Wine and Spirits suppliers.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage long term relationships with prospective clients and strategic referral sources
  • Follow-up and communicate with potential clients; provide guidance to prospective clients on the various service levels offered by the company
  • Negotiate and educate prospective clients on Company’s services agreements
  • Provide prospective clients with tutorials via systems demonstrations
  • Identify and secure Wine and Spirits industry events to attract new clients.
  • Support Warehouse managers in the on boarding of new clients into AB systems and operations.

Education and / or Work Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 3-5 years of alcoholic beverage industry, sales, business development, events, and / or communications experience
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and high attention to detail
  • High energy and enthusiastic
  • Strong problem solver driven to accomplish goals and able to work independently
  • Ability to interact with and manage clients, trade representatives, vendors, and other stakeholders with high degree of professionalism
  • Strong planning and budgeting abilities
  • Comfortable working long hours in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexible for some travel
  • Physical Requirements

  • Should be able to sit for extended periods
  • Hear and speak clearly by phone and video
