Location : Montebello, California (Los Angeles Area)

Department / Unit : Emergency Room

Salary Range : $40 to $55 per hour

Shift : Day Shift (06 : 00 AM - 06 : 30 PM)

Schedule : 3x12-hour shifts; will consider 48-hour shifts. No on-call required.

Weekend / Holiday Schedule : Every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Duration : 13 weeks (Contract)

Job Description

Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room (ER) in Montebello, California. This role is essential for providing high-quality care to patients experiencing urgent and emergency medical situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients upon arrival in the ER, prioritizing care based on medical need and urgency.
• Provide emergency care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
