Overview : Sonic Drive-In is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing the operations of our fast-paced restaurant. As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure efficient restaurant operations, exceptional customer service, and a positive work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding service. Responsibilities :

• Operational Support :
• Assist the General Manager in supervising and coordinating daily restaurant operations.
• Oversee employee scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demands.
• Monitor workflow and ensure efficient processes are in place.
• Maintain inventory levels, coordinate supply orders, and oversee stock management.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
• Customer Service :
• Foster a customer-centric environment by providing excellent service and addressing customer concerns.
• Assist in training and mentoring employees to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to implement strategies for improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Handle customer complaints or issues in a prompt and professional manner.
• Staff Supervision and Development :
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees.
• Provide guidance and support to staff members, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.
• Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to implement training programs and career development initiatives.
• Financial Management :
• Support the General Manager in monitoring financial performance and controlling costs.
• Assist in analyzing financial reports and identifying opportunities for improving profitability.
• Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive sales and revenue.
• Collaborate with the General Manager in budgeting and expense management.
• Compliance and Safety :
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in conducting regular inspections to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards.
• Train employees on safety procedures and ensure adherence to guidelines.

Requirements :

Previous experience in a leadership role within the fast-food or restaurant industry.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Familiarity with financial analysis and budgeting.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
