Job Title : Inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

• Skills in Acute Care, Adult Rehabilitation, Assessment, Communication Disorders, Bedside Swallow Evaluation, and Dysphagia Management
• Ability to treat a diverse patient population, including those with neurological disorders
• Flexibility to work weekends

Description :

Seeking an Inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist for acute care setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

The unit serves 50-70 patients daily.

Work alongside a team of 5-6 Speech-Language Pathologists during weekdays and 3-4 on weekends.

Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) is required.

Staff may treat patients ranging from ICU to skilled nursing facility levels.

An ICU rotation is not mandatory, and assessment for clinical readiness will be conducted.

Support a patient population with limited post-acute discharge options.

Teamwork and effective communication with interdisciplinary staff are essential.

Candidates should be open to weekend work and have the ability to float as needed.

Commitment to providing high-quality patient care is paramount.
