Our Sales team is seeking an Account Development Representative who will support, maintain, and develop small to medium-sized customer accounts. This role will serve as both an Account Manager and Account Assistant for a book of multiple small to mid-sized accounts and will manage the day-to-day responsibilities required to support this book. The ideal candidate for this position will enjoy building and maintaining strong relationships with many customers!

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES :
Develop and implement strategies with Account Teams and Sales Leadership to maximize and strengthen relationships with all customersAssist in Developing customer SOP'sAssist in escalated situations with customers and aid in providing solutionsCommunicate potential issues and concerns with the operations teamReview new and upcoming accountsSet weekly check-ins with leadershipEffectively communicate team needs to leadershipProfessional communication both internally and externallyUnderstand the urgency and risk of each individual accountSet expectations internally for all personnel involved with SMB accountsWillingness to coach and take ownership of all assigned accountsAssist in after-hours coverage where neededCross-functional collaborationDAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Professional and efficient communication with operations (i.e. Proactive update requests, collecting paperwork, monitor tracking updates)Professional and efficient communication with customers (i.e. Providing updates to delays upon request, proactive updates, quoting)Bid on ALL spot market opportunities that fit Ally's capabilitiesUtilize leadership for all questions and concerns regarding an accountBring all escalations to Customer Success and Customer Issues email distrosEnsure loads are being built and scheduled in a timely mannerClose loads out in a timely mannerRespond to billing needs (POD, lumper, etc)Create Customer SOPs for ALL accountsSet up customer calls and check-insDetermine the best equipment type (i.e. Could this be partial?)COMPENSATION :
This position will earn a $50K base salary + additional commissions .
