Job Title : Medical Assistant

Location : Provo, UT

Pay Rate : $20 – $24 / hour (commensurate with experience)

Employment Type : Contract (with potential for extension)

Schedule :

Monday – Thursday : 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Friday : 8 : 00 AM – 12 : 00 PM

Position Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join a dynamic, patient-centered healthcare team in Provo, UT. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of hands-on clinical experience, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for supporting both patient care and health education initiatives. Responsibilities :

Conduct patient intake and record vital signs

Perform phlebotomy / venipuncture and collect lab specimens

Assist healthcare providers during exams and procedures

Document patient information accurately in the EMR system

Support health education and community outreach efforts

Maintain cleanliness and stock in exam rooms and clinical areas

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient day-to-day operations

Comply with HIPAA and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications :

Minimum of 1 year of clinical medical assistant experience (excluding externship)

Proficient in phlebotomy / venipuncture

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills

Demonstrated interest in patient education and preventive care

Certifications :

Medical Assistant Certificate – Required

BLS / CPR Certification – Required

Preferred Qualifications :

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)

Experience in Occupational Health
