Summary
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing and Communications team. This role is ideal for a production-focused designer who thrives in a high-volume environment, excels at transforming complex technical information into clear visuals, and ensures brand consistency across all materials. Approximately half of the workload will focus on proposal graphics and documentation, requiring the ability to develop original visual frameworks that communicate technical content with clarity and precision. Due to the nature of the work and compliance requirements, the use of AI tools will be limited.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling visual materials across formats, including proposals, presentations, diagrams, marketing collateral, manuals, guides, and digital graphics.
- Develop new visual frameworks for proposals and technical documentation, including diagrams, process flows, and conceptual illustrations.
- Consolidate large tables, timelines, and datasets into easy-to-understand infographics.
- Build, refine, and maintain PowerPoint decks and templates that communicate technical concepts and strategic messaging.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, communications, engineering, finance, business development, and other teams to support visual storytelling needs.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to accurately visualize complex concepts.
- Ensure consistency with established brand standards across all internal and external graphics.
- Adapt designs based on stakeholder input and iterate quickly to meet tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in a graphic design role, preferably in a fast-paced technical or engineering environment.A portfolio demonstrating work from the past two years, showcasing both digital and print design with an emphasis on visual communication and storytelling.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).High competence in building professional presentations in PowerPoint, with expertise in organizing and visualizing complex narratives.Solid understanding of typography, layout systems, and visual hierarchy.Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional and technical teams.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume, quick-turn environment.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to shifting priorities.Degree in design, art, communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience and demonstrated skill set will also be considered.Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint workflows, as well as experience with data visualization tools or CAD exports, is a plus.Must be able to work on-site at our Houston HQ.Nice To Have :
