Worker's Compensation Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Worker's Compensation Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Jersey City, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing workers' compensation claims across the country, collaborating with third-party administrators and field teams to ensure effective claims management. This position is ideal for someone with expertise in workers' compensation processes and a strong understanding of related regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with third-party administrators (TPAs) to oversee workers' compensation claims nationwide, ensuring proper claims handling and settlement processes.
- Partner with field operations teams to collect necessary documentation to support investigations and claim adjustments.
- Assist with claims-related reporting, exposure analysis, certificate of insurance management, and invoice processing.
- Monitor workers' compensation analytics to identify trends, investigate discrepancies, and implement strategies to improve claims handling.
- Review reserve amounts and settlement proposals to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
- Develop and maintain processes that enhance the quality of workers' compensation file management.
- Provide guidance and support on workers' compensation-related inquiries and compliance matters.
