Xometry is seeking a solution-oriented Team Lead for its Sourcing Department. This role involves leading a team of Sourcing Specialists and Coordinators to resolve the companys most complex manufacturing challenges while also driving customer-first resolutions for its most complex projects. The Team Lead will provide hands-on leadership coaching and support to ensure efficient order placement high-quality customer outcomes and adherence to key performance metrics.

This role combines people leadership with : technical problem-solving; customer and supplier negotiations; and strategic problem-solving within a rapidly growing department. The ideal candidate is a leader who is comfortable guiding others while balancing their own high-risk orders.

Day to Day :

• Lead a team of sourcing professionals throughout the order recovery process and provide coaching direction and real-time guidance as appropriate.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for advanced recovery strategies supplier and customer negotiations and provide support to overcome complex sourcing challenges.
• Prioritize escalations and redistribute your teams workload as needed to achieve the teams overall KPIs
• Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams (Design Engineers Manual Quoting Team Sales etc.) to coordinate recovery plans
• Independently manage your queue of high-risk / high-visibility escalations
