Job Summary :

JTM Digital, a leading digital marketing agency in Rockville, MD, is looking for a creative and driven Social Media Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll collaborate with our social media team to manage and execute campaigns for clients. We're seeking someone with a passion for social media, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Support in developing and executing social media campaigns

Create and curate content (posts, graphics, videos) for various platforms

Schedule posts using social media management tools

Engage with audiences by monitoring and responding to comments / messages

Track and report social media performance metrics

Research trends and best practices to optimize strategy

Adapt to changes in social media algorithms

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

1-2 years of experience in social media management or a related field

Proficient with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and RED

Strong writing, communication, and collaboration skills

Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer)

Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools

Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail

Preferred Skills :

Experience with graphic design or video editing

Knowledge of paid social media advertising

Experience with influencer marketing

Interest in food, photography, or digital marketing

Job Type :

Internship : 20-40 hours / week (3-month period, with potential full-time offer)

Full-time : 40 hours / week
