Your day to day as a Shelter Monitor - Domestic Violence Services
As a new Shelter Monitor in Domestic Violence Services, you can expect a dynamic and impactful daily routine. Your primary responsibilities will include providing a welcoming atmosphere for residents, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and offering support to individuals as they navigate their challenges. You will assist with intake processes, maintain shelter cleanliness, and document incidents or resident concerns as necessary. Engaging with residents compassionately and professionally will be essential, as you help create a supportive community environment.
Your expected schedule will include three shifts from Monday to Friday, from 3 : 30 PM to 12 : 00 AM, along with mandatory availability on Saturday and Sunday. This role requires a commitment to being present and responsive, making each day an opportunity for meaningful interaction and assistance.
