Family Practice / Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum Family Medicine opportunity at a community-based public health facility in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. This role offers a supportive team environment, manageable patient load, and flexibility in scheduling for local or regional providers.

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM

Includes 30 minutes of administrative time per day

30-minute lunch break

Setting : Outpatient only

Patient Population : All ages (rural and underserved populations)

Average Patient Volume : patients / day (schedule allows for 16; high no-show rate)

Support Staff : RN, MA, and interpreters (team-based pod model)

Work Style : Team-based with physician supervision available

Telehealth : Not included in this role

EMR System : CureMD

Requirements

Experience : Minimum 1 year of Family Medicine or Primary Care experience preferred

Certification : Board Certified NP or PA

Licensure : Active North Carolina license

Certifications : BLS (required)

Supervision : Physician supervision provided

Enrollment : Prior Medicare / Medicaid enrollment preferred
