At this time, STAR has an open position for an IT Support Specialist (full-time, non-exempt). This position plays a critical role in ensuring the technology of our team is fully functional for optimal performance and providing world class technical support.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :

  • Troubleshoot and identify problems related to PCs, applications, and office technology.
  • Take ownership the IT Help Desk and Ticket System.
  • Provide a white-glove approach to customer service with proactive communication.
  • Onboard and offboard employees, setting up new accounts, prepare equipment and train new hires ensuring a world class onboarding experience.
  • Audio Video management for training and conference rooms.
  • Collaborate with IT Director to prioritize and manage day-to-day technology operations and support.

The ideal candidate for this job will possess a collaborative spirit, a commitment to exceeding internal and external client expectations, fanatical attention to detail, and an exceptional ability to manage assigned tasks and timelines.

Qualifications :

  • Systems and software proficiency including but not limited to : Basic Networking understanding, VMware vSphere, Active Directory and GPO management, SAN Storage, Backups, on-prem Exchange and Office 365 administration, Zoom, CRM, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Apple Mobile Device Management, JAMF, printers deployment and management, IT Ticketing Systems.
  • Advanced understanding of information technology, web applications, project management and workflows.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills while being flexible, adaptable, and open to others ideas.
  • Willingness and ability to work beyond 40 hours per week during peak periods to ensure client needs are met.
  • Highly organized with an ability to multi-task and navigate interruptions.
  • Self-motivated with a results and proactive driven approach.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective time management prioritization.
  • College degree or technical certifications encouraged with 3+ years of on-the-job experience.
