About The Position

Job Title : Technician - Sleep Tech

Location (Onsite, Remote, or Hybrid?) : Milwaukee, WI (onsite)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Working Hours : 6 : 30PM - 7AM Total Weekly Hours : 36

(1) Sleep Tech 12 Hour Night Shift Milwaukee Campus Start date : ASAP

Contract length : 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension

Guaranteed hours : 36

Shift Requirements : 12-hour night shifts; 1830-0700

Weekends / holidays : None

Float Requirements : None

On call / Call Back : None Required certifications : Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, BRPT (Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists, and AHA BLS.

Minimum experience : 4 years of previous experience working in an outpatient / ambulatory setting; pediatrics preferred but will consider candidates that have only worked with adults.

EMR : Epic experience preferred Position Summary : Diagnostic Polysomnograms, initiation and titration of continuous and bi-level pressure support, mechanical ventilation, monitors, documentation / billing, artifact recognition and corrections, mask fittings, and patient / family education

Scrub Colors : Any professional scrubs

Jewelry (body piercing / body adornment) : A single small stud is now permitted to be worn in the nose. No other visible body piercings (e.g. tongue, eyebrow, lips and gauges) are acceptable (except ear piercings). Flesh colored or clear piercing plugs may now be worn.

• Flu vaccine required. NO EXEMPTIONS
• Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed and orientation week.
