Job Description

As a Tool & Die Maker , you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and modifying tools, dies, and fixtures while supporting machine setup and operation. as well as implementing all related preventative maintenance programs. This is a physical, shop floor role requiring strong technical skills and a collaborative mind set. Must be flexible to work various or extended shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Repair, maintain and make engineering changes to all tooling (dies & die details) and fixtures
  • Assist technical services in machine repair, changeover, setup, and operation as required
  • Have ability to assemble and disassemble tooling, dies and gauges
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tooling problems
  • Work with various materials such as tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper
  • Able to program & operate CNC equipment

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Journeyman’s certification (preferred) and / or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to interpret technical documents and write routine reports.
  • Basic math skills including ratios, percentages, and proportions.
  • Able to lift / move 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout your shift, stand, walk, climb, kneel, and operate equipment regularly.
