job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and / or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location. Monitor entry points and screen individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized access. Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and / or vendors as part of access control protocols. Report incidents, irregularities, and / or suspicious activity according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience in access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Professional - Telecom Access Screener
As a Security Professional - Telecom Access Screener in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor access control points and conduct security-related screenings to help create a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter incidents while you provide exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. You will be a visible representative of Allied Universal's values, contributing to a caring and innovative environment through teamwork and integrity.
