REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid food handling certification
  • Ability to read and follow instructions in English
  • Valid photo ID and fingerprint clearance required
  • Reliable transportation to and from work

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Previous food services experience
  • Willingness to work overtime for school events
  • Strong teamwork and work ethic

    • COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

  • 15 / hr
  • Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 hours daily (shift ends at 3 : 30 PM)

    • ROLE IMPACT

  • Delivering nutritious meals that meet USDA and TDA standards
  • Supports student health and academic performance by ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in meal preparation and service throughout the school year

    • KEY DUTIES

  • Prepare and serve food items following sanitation and safety protocols
  • Perform physically demanding tasks such as prolonged standing, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 40 lbs
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of food service areas
  • Work efficiently in high-traffic kitchen environments with exposure to hot and cold temperatures
  • Support team operations and adapt to changing demands during school events

    • EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, warmers, refrigerators)
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures and fast-paced settings
  • Must perform physical movements including lifting, carrying, reaching, and twisting
  • Standing and walking for prolonged periods
