General Manager – Contract Furniture Manufacturing

Contract furniture manufacturer that’s looking for a General Manager to take charge of day-to-day operations in the Midwest and help lead the company into its next stage of growth. They do everything from small custom projects to large-scale production, including conference tables, lecterns, credenzas, cabinetry, store fixtures, and more. Materials range from laminates and veneers to hardwoods, solid surfaces, quartz, glass, and metal — and their finishing capabilities setting them apart from competitors offering the best all around value in the woodworking industry as an OEM source of supply.  Compensation D.O.E.

This role is a mix of strategy and hands-on leadership. The company needs someone who can keep operations running smoothly while also driving growth and process improvements.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee production schedules, quality control, and on-time project delivery
• Lead and develop the team, making sure the culture stays strong and performance stays high
• Partner with sales and design to keep customers happy and projects on track
• Keep a close eye on financials — budgets, KPIs, P&L — and make adjustments when needed
• Look for ways to improve processes, efficiency, and overall operations
• Represent the company with customers, vendors, and at industry events
• Drive long-term strategy and growth while still being involved in the day-to-day
