Summary :
Works with the Baptist Health user community in the evaluation, selection, design / tailoring, testing and implementation of clinical and business systems. Works well in team environments, and provides ongoing support for problem resolution, application modifications, and new releases. Works independently on projects that range from simple to moderate complexity and under general supervision on major or complex projects. Assists users with basic troubleshooting / problem solving, and guides users in the use of healthcare systems. Specializes in a particular Baptist Health system and will provide on-call coverage for a production system on a scheduled basis. May assist with the onboard process for new team members.

Demonstrates strong computer / software skills. Will work with minimal direction on assigned projects. Ability to handle multiple priorities, and lead / facilitate groups. Requires strong customer service orientation and knowledge of healthcare workflows. Prefer a bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, but will accept 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Three or more years of experience in an IT related role with demonstrated ability to take on more responsibilities. Epic certification may be required, depending on the position. If not pre-certified and Epic certifications required, certification required within 6 months post hire date. All certifications required for this position must be current as a condition of continued employment.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
