High Jump Coach
Position Overview
Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy (FSHA) an all-girls Catholic high school committed to educating young women for a life of faith integrity and truth is seeking an experienced High Jump Coach .
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable leader who can inspire student-athletes promote sportsmanship and elevate a competitive and inclusive Track & Field program rooted in the mission and values of FSHA.
Season : January 12 May 16 (through CIF playoffs) 3x per week
Compensation : $1500 stipend for the season
Primary Responsibilities
- Plan and lead high jump training sessions focused on skill development technique strength and conditioning
- Teach proper high jump mechanics with an emphasis on safety and progressive skill building
- Collaborate with the Track & Field coaching staff to coordinate training schedules and meet preparation
- Assess athlete progress and provide constructive individualized feedback
- Supervise athletes at practices meets and team events
- Model and promote sportsmanship teamwork and a growth mindset
- Ensure compliance with school league and state athletic regulations
