The University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a patient-centered 100 % Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in our NEW Urbandale Clinic Our Licensed Practical Nurses are responsible to help a wide variety of patients from newborn to geriatric, ensure patient care standards are met, and provide access to additional care options. This position is part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, rich with opportunities for learning and growth. We utilize a multidisciplinary approach to patient care that encourages teamwork between multiple disciplinary teams to provide the most comprehensive care to our patients.

Duties to include :

• Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
• Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
• In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.

Salary : $ 44557.92 - $ 66377.52 ( based on years of experience)
