Responsibilities :

  • Direct and manage all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and month-end closings.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Develop and oversee budgeting processes, tax planning strategies, and banking relationships.
  • Lead and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial operations.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape financial strategies and support business planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate audits, regulatory filings, and compliance requirements to maintain organizational integrity.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and policies to safeguard company assets.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making and organizational growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience coordinating audits and managing regulatory filings.
