Responsibilities :
- Direct and manage all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and month-end closings.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Develop and oversee budgeting processes, tax planning strategies, and banking relationships.
- Lead and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial operations.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to shape financial strategies and support business planning initiatives.
- Coordinate audits, regulatory filings, and compliance requirements to maintain organizational integrity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and policies to safeguard company assets.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making and organizational growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience coordinating audits and managing regulatory filings.
