Summary :
The Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO), reports to the System Chief Nursing Executive (CNE) and is instrumental in shaping and overseeing all aspects of nursing care. This role is responsible for the planning, development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care delivery, professional development, evidence-based practices, and nursing research clinical programs and divisions within Baptist Health. The ACNO facilitates the provision of safe, high-quality clinical care to patients.
The ACNO works with the CNE to develop and implement strategic plans, set goals, create programs, define outcomes, and establish measurement methods. Within the strategic vision of the CNE, the ACNO ensures the effective coordination of human, fiscal and material resources across all aspects of nursing care delivery.
The ACNO collaborates closely with the nursing and senior management teams to advance patient care services. This involves analyzing and utilizing data, identifying emerging trends and issues, leveraging technology, and aligning with the organization's vision, mission, and goals. These insights are then used to direct strategic planning, organization, leadership, service delivery, performance improvement, and the evaluation of nursing performance standards.
Other information :
Required : Master's Degree in Nursing or a master's level healthcare-related degree from an institution accredited by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing or a Compact State Licensure in Nursing. (Licenses with restrictions will be reviewed to determine their relevance to the position.) A minimum of eight years of progressive nursing management experience, including at least three years of hospital director management experience in an acute care setting, with demonstrated positive outcomes within the last five years.
Preferred : Two years of senior nurse leadership experience (ACNO or CNO) with demonstrated positive outcomes.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
